As our network needs continue to grow, especially when dealing with large-scale data and business-critical applications, we need an OTN solution that can support 400G transmission rates. DWDM Coherent 4x 100G to 400G Topology Design:
Solution Overview
Efficient 400G DWDM Transmission: We adopt DWDM technology to aggregate 100G into a single 400G transmission channel through 4x 100G coherent optical modules. This not only optimizes the use of fiber resources but also significantly improves the transmission efficiency of the network, ensuring stability and high performance in transmitting large data volumes.
Application of OLP: To meet customer requirements for high security and network reliability, we have incorporated OLP into our design, which can quickly switch to a backup line if a problem is detected on one of the links, thus minimizing data loss in the event of a fiber link failure.
Application of EDFA: To ensure the strength and quality of the signal during long-haul transmission, we have introduced EDFAs into fiber optic links. These amplifiers enhance and amplify optical signals to build long-haul DWDM solutions.
